Litsa Menounos, Maria's mom was diagnosed in the month of August in 2016 with GBM (glioblastoma Multiforme) an aggressive and hard-to-treat brain tumour. Menounos took care of Maria's mother, who underwent chemotherapy and radiation. Mariah Carey was an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and actress. Guinness World Records referred to Mariah Carey as Songbird Supreme. Her songwriting style is melismatic and she employs the whistle in her trademark style.
