Ky-Mani Marley one of the richest and most famous Reggae Singers was born on Friday, February 26, 1976, in Falmouth Jamaica. He was in Shottas a film that has become a legend featuring Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed to Shang Records where he recorded his debut album in 1996 With Father Like Son and several singles including Judge Not With Patra and Dear Dad" (which topped the British reggae charts) Who The Cap Fit (remix) and Sensimelia each of which contributed to his rising popularity in the new wave of reggae artists. Ky-Mani teamed up with Praswell from Fugees to cover Electric Avenue from Eddy Grant. The song was a huge hit in 1997. Marley appeared at the Midem event (an international showcase of music), which was first staged in Miami.
